Marcus's journey in the electrical field began in 2014, when he started as an apprentice. From day one, he was driven by more than just learning the basics — he wanted to understand every aspect of the trade, master the electrical codes, and develop the kind of workmanship that clients could rely on.
While building experience on the job, Marcus began taking on small side projects for friends, family, and referred clients. Those jobs mattered. They gave him a place to apply what he was learning in real homes, solve real problems, and sharpen his skills beyond what any job site alone could teach.
Over time, something became clear: the trust was growing, the referrals were coming in, and what started as extra work on the side was turning into something much bigger. That's when Marcus made the decision to go all in and start MQ Electric.
I want every client to feel like I treated their home the same way I'd treat my own. That's the standard I hold myself to.
